Conditioning & Calorie Burning Class - creche available

Regular classes are for anyone from just leaving the postnatal class up to retirement age.  Letting loose a bit is a theme in these classes and many laughs are had here. We don’t take ourselves too seriously but the content of the classes is carefully designed to get the best results for our clients. They tend to be busy but always welcome new comers.

The Classes

• are great fun – once the early days of the postnatal period are over we can be a little more adventurous 
• the Monday class (9.45am Thames Ditton) always uses equipment to keep the class varied and interesting and never requires much co-ordination, but is heavily focused on toning the figure
• the two classes are designed to compliment each other
• all morning classes have on site crèche facilities for the babies and toddlers.  Children tend to stay in the crèche up to school age and older ones often come when schools have inset days

The Creche

• the crèches are run by experienced Mums who are paid to set up and run the crèche then clear away at the end
  
• bottles can be given as long as the leaders can do so with out neglecting the care of other children and snacks and other refreshments are encouraged as they often help to settle the children (nut free please)
• all snack/drinks etc need to be labelled
• the crèche leaders are not allowed to change nappies under health and safety law

The crèche is run by mumsinshape but very much belongs to the class and decisions about it are often put to the group.  Involvement in it’s running by the class members is encouraged.

Booking Terms

The classes run to Elmbridge school term dates and classes are bookable in half termly courses. If you are going to be away and miss a class the cost of the class can be deducted from your payment and the dates detailed on the booking form.  Any classes missed due to unforeseen circumstances are lost or can be made up by coming to the other mumsinshape or Pushy Mothers classes within the same half term, these must be agreed with the Instructor before attending. We feel by running the classes this way we probably share half the loss each over a period of a year or so.   Classes cannot be carried over into new half terms.  Crèche places have to be paid for whether you can attend or not as the crèches run on a non profit making basis and the leaders must be paid regardless.

This class is continuous through all school holidays stopping only for a brief period over Christmas.  This class costs £6.60 per session bookable in advance.
